You know, when you see your own clothes everyday it's hard to get fresh and new ideas that align with how you want to present yourself. I got a whole new perspective today. I love what you showed me about contrasting textures and how to finish a look with accessories --which is something I sometimes forget about entirely. I was also so comforting to know that I can use what I have but now see also that I have a few basics that were gaps in my wardrobe.

Like you, I like to be intentional when I shop and you understood that so deeply --I  know that's one of your values, too. So your recommendations on how I can fill these gaps to make my wardrobe even more wearable were super helpful. Next time I go thrifting or to consignment stores I will have a whole new set of eyes! "I really appreciate all of the thought and intention that you put into your work.  I have worn out a handful of the outfits that you styled for me and felt the best that I have in my clothes in a long time!  It feels amazing to wear my own (!) clothes in a way that is flattering and represents the person I am today. "I have been telling EVERYONE who will listen to me how much Helene helped transform my relationship to my clothes. I have always been very particular with my possessions and very confident with my "stuff" except when it has come to clothes. I always just thought that I didn't really like clothing or paying attention to what I wear, but now I know that I just didn't know enough!

Ever since working with Helene, I love getting dressed, looking out for new pieces of clothing, and playing with new combinations. "Today, at the grocery store, I received a compliment from someone I didn’t know. I was not wearing something new, expensive or trendy just my regular clothes but I looked and felt put together, stylish, happy. Receiving a random compliment out of the blue was wild to me and I have Helene to thank for it!

Last week I had a styling session with Helene, it was so much fun! I learned what types of clothing look best on me, what colors are most flattering and how to balance fabric weight, shape and drape with the right accessories.

The best part of our session was when Helene began pulling items from my closet. She quickly curated a workable wardrobe with pieces I already own and then put together some really amazing outfits from that collection. Helene identified a few gaps in my wardrobe and provided a short list of items that I might shop for in the future. I’m pretty pleased with my edited wardrobe and will have fun working with what I have over the summer.

Getting dressed everyday is a necessity but it’s also a creative endeavor. Helene is a true master of style and that creativity, it’s an amazing experience to work with her!"
